Our Programs

2Leaf Press Inc. (2LP Inc.) has developed impactful program initiatives focused on advancing its mission, building public trust, and securing the financial support necessary for long-term sustainability. Effective, evidence-based programs are central to a nonprofit’s mission and play a crucial role in its overall success.

Currently, 2LP Inc. runs three primary programs: 2Leaf Press, phati’tude Literary Magazine (PLM), and the TRAILBLAZERS book series. In 2026, we aim to enhance the distribution of 2Leaf Press, expand the use of PLM as an educational resource in public schools, colleges, and universities, and develop a podcast and docuseries for TRAILBLAZERS. We also intend to launch five more initiatives: (1) broaden our distribution to feature audiobooks, (2) develop The 2LP App, (3) establish the 2LP Book Donation Giveaway,  (4) create a series of online writing workshops, and (5) LEFTTURN Podcast, a weekly cultural arts program. Below is a concise overview of these upcoming projects:

Create, produce, and distribute audiobooks

2Leaf Press Inc. plans to enter the audiobook market as the sector is rapidly expanding. The global audio market is currently valued at over $5.3 billion and is projected to reach $35 billion by 2030. Audio titles are expected to make up more than 21.3% of total revenue in worldwide book publishing. Notably, this reflects an annual growth rate of 26.4% for the audio market over the next seven years, compared to just 1.9% growth for the traditional book market. In general, small publishers like 2Leaf Press need to produce audiobooks to capitalize on the rapidly growing audiobook market, attract new audiences who prefer listening over reading, create additional revenue streams from existing titles, and improve accessibility for readers with visual impairments or limited time. Audiobooks provide a distinctive way to engage with readers, face less direct competition than print books, and can enhance an author’s visibility, particularly in nonfiction.

While not all 2Leaf Press titles will be converted into audiobooks, those that qualify will be professionally produced and distributed through digital platforms such as Audible, Apple Books, and Google Play Books, which offer extensive content libraries and user-friendly listening experiences.

Develop The 2LP App

2Leaf Press aims to enhance its online presence by combining social interaction with commerce through the creation of the 2LP App, which will be available for download on Apple and Google platforms.

Mobile phones have become crucial for most people in their daily lives, enabling a variety of functions beyond simple phone calls. Many users depend on applications for various tasks, such as shopping, viewing medical records, and paying bills. The 2LP App offers the following:

  • The 2LP App will serve as a digital marketplace for book sales and merchandise, connecting readers with authors, including fundraising efforts and events to reach a broader, potentially global audience, thus extending our influence beyond local limits.
  • The 2LP App will engage a new generation of followers and potential donors with personalized content and interactive features. End users will receive push notifications to stay informed and engaged, leading to increased customer engagement, enhanced brand loyalty, and a competitive edge for 2Leaf Press. Moreover, the 2LP App will offer important data insights that will promote ongoing growth and progress.

As many social media platforms become less secure, we aim to create a safe environment for our readers, supporters, and constituents to stay informed, communicate freely, and engage with one another.

Establish the 2LP Book Donation Giveaway

The 2LP Book Donation Giveaway will provide 2Leaf Press books to individuals in need by collaborating with libraries and schools to improve their collections and educational initiatives, as well as with prisons and nonprofits focused on literacy. Additionally, we aim to contribute books to support wider literacy efforts, including book drives, reading initiatives, and online book exchange platforms. We believe that book donation programs, which frequently engage community members, promote a collective sense of responsibility for literacy and resource accessibility.

Online writing workshops

2Leaf Press intends to launch online writing workshops as a strategic initiative to build community, generate additional revenue, and expand its footprint in the digital literary market. These workshops will highlight our books and authors and be led by a 2Leaf Press instructor, aligning naturally with our community-focused approach.

In line with our mission, 2Leaf Press strives to create a supportive and motivating space where writers feel connected and can find a central gathering place for their literary community. This attracts new writers while strengthening loyalty among existing ones. Unlike larger publishers, small presses flourish through close relationships not only with authors and readers but also with students and aspiring writers, fostering deeper engagement with our audience. Moreover, these workshops serve as a platform for emerging writers, giving the press an early chance to identify promising talent, potentially leading to the publication of future works by authors who have already established a connection with the press.

LeftTurn Podcast

LEFTTURN Podcast is a weekly show that delves into global issues by examining the “why” through the perspectives of artists, scholars, politicians, cultural workers, and activists from diverse backgrounds. It is available as a video and audio podcast.

Hosted by Gabrielle David, each episode features in-depth interviews on various topics, aiming to introduce listeners to individuals making a positive impact in their communities and sparking political and social change. David’s sharp insight and intelligence are evident as she analyzes these issues and their connection to the national narrative with a fresh viewpoint.

Insightful and captivating, LEFTTURN Podcast aims to be a reliable platform for thorough reporting and significant conversations on urgent modern topics. It distinctly aligns with the liberal viewpoint in American politics, which is exactly why it’s called the LEFTTURN Podcast. The series is also accessible as a video podcast on YouTube and Vimeo, featuring closed captions and subtitles. The first season will include 18 one-hour episodes.

2Leaf Press has developed a well-defined strategic plan for its program initiatives that unites all stakeholders—board members, staff, volunteers, and partners—around shared objectives. This approach guarantees that everyone is focused on the same vision, enhancing the organization’s overall effectiveness, while also empowering the communities it supports through the provision of vital resources, education, and skills training.
